About me
My small life history
I always knew I will be a writer one day. From those days when my mum was reading me Frank Zalten’s “Bambi”. I just knew that I want to be able to write like this. Books were my hiding place from a cruel world. I was born in Lithuania, at that time still part of Soviet Union. Not free yet but bubbling with resistance. I still remember the horrors of 13th of January. I won’t be talking about them, but they are fresh to me at the time that I am writing this about section because the war is happening in Ukraine. I feel for those kids even though it’s hard for me to comprehend their terror because all I was left with after that night was fear of ambulance sirens and the feeling that something terrible is happening at that exact moment. But those kids are living with bombs going off every day. I don’t feel like writing about myself, even though here I am smiling in a picture I took just few months back, so full of hope for the future. I am still full of hope. Modern world can’t accept tyranny. I just can’t see it with all the freedoms that we have experienced.
I see that my about section is turning wild, because that’s how I am. I moved with my family to Australia when nothing and no one was waiting for us here. Seven years later we are still waiting for our visas. I haven’t seen my family for seven years because we couldn’t leave, not that we could have afforded it. We had this big dream and we are still waiting for it to come true.
I changed my career, had babies, I am a happy and lucky person, I know. I have four published books, and couple years ago I found myself in love with reading and writing code. I just love solving problems. And all of that because I needed more research for one of my book characters. Faith has interesting ways of uniting us with our destiny.
This is not an author page. This is my diary. And I feel that many of you feel the same way that I do. Go through similar things that I do. So I trust you will find a friend in my posts and I will find a friend in my readers.
I believe that the world will be saved by women and their innate love for human life, a woman is a true creator of life.
That’s my latest vector art called “Even and the Universe”. You might guess what it alludes to.
